These monitoring devices are the latest in a long line of Intelligent Systems Management products that have become an industry standard for automating fault and configuration management for a wide range of
telecom and datacom systems. 

The Enterprise(i) is now available in two models. The Rack Mount Enterprise(i) is a robust model that addresses virtually any monitoring requirement while the Desktop Enterprise(i) has a reduced feature set to provide a cost effective solution for those applications that may not require a full featured Enterprise(i) unit. Both models include a 10/100BaseT Ethernet connection, a 56 Kbps internal modem, a two-hour internal UPS battery, basic event-processing application software, Python script execution and SNMP Proxy Agent capability. The Rack Mount is packaged in a sleek black 1U enclosure and designed for applications worldwide. 32Mb of Flash and 128Mb of SDRam memory is provided to meet the most demanding requirements. For large service companies or self-maintained enterprises, the Enterprise(i) offers a rich array of capabilities for monitoring legacy telecom systems and IP-based datacom elements – serving as an SNMP Proxy Agent or a Network Segment Manager, providing ASCII datastream analysis, monitoring
environmental sensors and controls, collection/polling of bulk data, access security… and more.
